Street Life . . .
Georgetown's Coronation Street may be less famous than the one in Manchester, but at least ours is real - if only about 30 yards long. And the street's pub, the Shepherd's Crook, is more upmarket than the Rovers - its pies are, to quote our former next door neighbour, "to die for." Wish its service was as hot: last time we visited, the server tripped on the carpet and lobbed a large glass of red wine over Jools, leaving her so bedraggled that we had to move to a table close to the fire so she could dry out. We haven't been back since . . .
