View at 7:55 a.m.

Alarm went off as always at 7:45 a.m. Jump out of bed to be in front of Sky News before 08:00.

The view, one of my favourites, recalls Bournemouth’s grand pre-package tour days. When the the rich and famous came here. (Tolkien would have enjoyed this view when he stayed at a nearby hotel)

Quiet, just a few people around. Another sunny day (chilly wind again).

Back playing up a little. Probably from doing a light jog on the balcony yesterday. Nothing to worry about. May lie down after writing this, when there’s an interval on Countdown.
