Between the bridges

Today's the day ……………………….. for a backward glance

A much nicer day here today, although it was still a bit chilly in the wind - but at least the wind wasn't gale-force today. 

Couldn't resist a return visit to yesterday's blip to look a bit closer, now that I know more about it.  And, on the way, I looked back across the River Dee to our house, nestled between the Telford Bridge which takes the road across and the remains of the old Railway Bridge, which took the railway.

It was low tide in the Dee Estuary so there was not much water in the river.  But they had just opened the gates upstream at the Hydro Power Station and that's the water that you can see rushing down ……………….
