Life goes on

Last year a pair of wood pigeons built a nest in our tree and had one chick. It happened when the tree was in full leaf and we saw them coming and going, but it wasn't until late autumn that we saw the nest.

Today this male was trying to encourage a female to check it out. She stayed for a while then flew off. I've checked on line to find that the breeding season is normally August / September, but can occur all year round if there is an abundance of food. We will watch and wait.

Not the clearest picture as it was taken through an upstairs window ....not the cleanest of windows.

A day of bits and pieces. After I posted yesterday's blip I listened to the Queen's speech. An amazing inspirational lady with wise words.

Tonight whilst I post this blip, the news has been released that Boris Johnson has been moved to intensive care. I do hope that he and all other people with this disease recover.

We are in a very scary situation. Please adhere to advice given and stay safe.
