Snow topped fungi

Well we certainly got the snow overnight that was forecast, and this morning everything looked wonderful with the sun shine and blue sky that we also got. We walked the dogs ( Reggie and Angus) through St Ives this afternoon, and the big melt was starting, making it quite tricky underfoot in places. At one of the slippiest spots, I spotted these three fungi on a dead tree trunk, and just had to risk getting a decent shot. A google search suggests they may be Piptoporus betulinis but I am not an expert on fungi identification so any of you know better plese let me know.

Either way I love the way the snow is sitting on top of them.
