Portabellies

Last year we went to an outdoor show and bought mushroom plugs. We cut some live oak limbs drilled holes in them placed the spore plugs in the holes and covered each with wax. We placed them in the shade and watered them when it did not rain. Then we waited. Well low and behold yesterday the mushrooms started to pop out! How cool! Tomorrow we will have a nice fresh mushroom and cheese omelette!
