And you might have thought I was still on the license plate series. More are guaranteed for sure in the future - but TODAY, some "plates" of a different sort.

The plates in today's blip are used as counterweights on a large construction crane.

In this case, thirteen solid steel plates, each weighing 6500 pounds, with a combined total weight of 42 tons. Just slightly more than a fully loaded tractor trailer truck.
