Moonrise on the Marsh
Went for a late afternoon walk to the marsh. Weather was cold, wind was blowing, and my hands froze despite the double gloves. But the sun was shining and I timed it just right to catch a glorious sunset over the city. What a lovely surprise it was to turn around for a moment and see the full moon, just as it had begun to rise. I'd forgotten about it. I've always liked this white house, set apart from its neighbours and overlooking the marsh on one side and the ocean on the other. Anyway, as luck would have it, from where I stood it was perfectly positioned to counterbalance the moon.
