Tiny Tuesday . . . Easter Decorations
You sure can spend waste a lot of time arranging small figures to get a shallow depth of field that is pleasing to the eye. I'm sure I've written before about these little decorations. They were brought to our family in 2002 by a German exchange student. She lived in Erlangen a city in Bavaria. The lovely daughter was taking German as a subject at high School. In December 2001 she had travelled to Erlangen and had a white Christmas, gone to school and lived with the host family. The next year we did the same except we took our student to the beach to celebrate Easter that year. Every year we bring out the bunnies and buy Lindt chocolate bunnies to enjoy. Our student also brought us a Lindt bunny each. I think that was first time we experienced that delicious chocolate. The bunnies are made to be hung as a decoration as in the extra. The lovely daughter and son are in the photos on the wall.
When the lovely daughter travelled it was soon after the attacks of 9/11 and there was much thought as to weather the exchange would even happen. This Easter of course we are in a global pandemic and we wonder if the world will be safe again. I feel sure life will return a to balance.
Thank you Mary Eliza for hosting this month.
