Bug

I was stalking bees in the garden and this chap popped in, posed for a picture and took off again. As a macro photo I'm really quite pleased with it, but I have no idea what insect it is. Can anyone enlighten me?

Little else to report today, other than a walk at lunchtime, such is life at the moment.
