A Nesting Pair: Ospreys in Quehanna Wild Area

Before we left the Quehanna Wild Area on Sunday, we stopped for a few minutes at the Beaver Run Dam wildlife viewing area (which was known in years prior as the shallow water impoundment). There is good news! The repair work on the dam breast has been completed, there is water in it again, and there is a pair of nesting ospreys atop one of the trees. They do look quite pleased with each other, don't they!???  :-)
