Stop for a breather
We never knew there were so many pretty walks around. It had become a habit, jumping in the car, going off exploring. It is our 2nd Wedding Anniversary today. Two years ago we had the best day, 5 weeks on from mastectomy we danced the night away with our friends and family. Since then we have been through 6 rounds of chemo, 15 radiotherapy sessions, 18 three weekly visits to the chemo ward to get preventative treatments, monthly stabbings to shut down ovaries and the joy of tamoxifen and it's own hideous side effects. We took a deep breath in September when my oncologist sacked me...then hubby broke his ankle. So after 2 months off work, and just about getting back to normal we are furloughed. To say our married life has had its ups and downs is an understatement. But there is noone on the planet I would rather be locked down with. Happy anniversary darling. Here is to the next 30 years. May things improve for us. Please. Xx
