Welcome to the Lake District ....... not. 

Cumbria Police and tourism chiefs are telling people to follow the 'stay at home' advice and not visit the Lakes over the Easter holiday. 

Only a few shops are open and no cafes. Many car parks have boulders across the entrance. All tourist attractions are closed. Some public toilets are locked. Lake cruisers aren't running.  Police will be patrolling the roads.
