Melting Ice and Blue Water

Today we were in Kramfors and finally (hopefully) got the windscreen washing system in the car fixed. We were there first at 7 o'clock to hand over the car, and there again in the afternoon to pick up the car after the repair.
On the afternoon trip the sun had come out so I took a detour along the river (Ångermanälvan) to see if I could get a good picture. I wasn't totally satisfied but this was the closest I got.
There were a few ice-floes drifting down the river but because it never got really cold this winter the ice is melting in place, rather than breaking up.
As you can see there is plenty of space, and forest, in our part of the world.
