Spring flowers

The spring has arrived properly now!  Warm day so walked around the farm.  Extra photos:  first bluebells and the flowers of the Sycamore tree.

The old cock pheasant at last had his way with the rather dowdy hen pheasant so everything ended well for him.  They will probably go looking for a suitable nesting site now.  The jackdaws are trying to nest in my chimney pot. This happened last year and I got a whole load of sticks thrust down and  landing in the fireplace.  Every time I hear the birds on the roof I rush out to scare them off - it worked last year so here's hoping!
