Dad at my Graduation Ceremony

I finished my university work last fall, but could not be present at the graduation ceremony in December as I was in Japan, so I received my MA (in American Studies) today. Whoohoo.

Because it has been such a while since I worked my ass off trying to get it all done and finished, it seemed like such an insignificant thing of the past. The speech the coordinator of the master's program gave today was a general recap of me and my work, and I was quite happy with both, as was he. Cool.

Went for drinks after and to a sushi place after with Sy, Yazz, Pete, and Aura, which was great great fun. Super.

Also, passed 700 kanji today.
