'Patricks 21st Birthday Party'

We were supposed to be away camping this weekend, but that would have meant missing out on Mrs R's cousin Patrick's 21st birthday party today.

So glad that we didn't miss this. I had a great day there will all of the cousins and Mrs RW's family. The food is just amazing at any of these Asian parties, and always heaps of it. Not my fault if I start looking like a beach ball soon, it just tastes so good that you can't not go back for seconds of thirds.

This is Patrick 'The birthday boy' basting his spit roast lamb with the lemon grass stalks out in his garage. There was another full lamb hanging in the shed waiting for the second half of his party tonight with his mates.

He'd arranged the meat and cooked it himself and he sure looked like he knew what he was doing to me, and having a great time doing it.

So glad we were able to attend this today. Bella found some little friends and didn't want to leave after sharing the marshmallows dipped in chocolate fondue, and cried herself to sleep in the car on the way home.

Oh, and sorry to all the vegetarians out there for this blip, please forgive me.
