April walks
This morning we decided to walk down towards the beach and photograph some spring flowers. There were so many flowers it was impossible to choose. I liked this photo where a little girl is on the waters edge with her parents. We could hear her screams of delight as she ran into the sea. It was clearly very cold as you would expect in April. It was very warm down there as the bay faces south and there was not a breath of wind.
There are a few photos in extras, one the sycamore with leaves emerging and another of the ducklings this morning. The Fifteenth duckling needed a bit of help to emerge and so one photo is of it having just come out of the shell. They have now been moved to a netted nursery pen where predators can't reach them.
Follow yesterday's link to The Accidental Zoo facebook page if you would like to see the video of the ducklings making progress.
