Nightingale Hospital

This is the NHS Nightingale Hospital that is currently being built in the Harrogate Conference Centre. There has been a hive of activity around the site all week and it is supposed to open this weekend with a capacity of 500 beds to look after Covid-19 patients.
Earlier this week, a huge concrete platform was laid just in front of the steps to the Royal Hall. Now there are two enormous oxygen tanks there with a maze of pipes running into the building.
It is amazing how quickly this has all come about. We live in strange times, and hopefully all this will not last too long.
