horns of wilmington's cow

Spider! Jump!

I love little Zebra Spiders, with their giant pair of eyes (out of a total of 8) giving them the depth of field they need to be able to target prey, and capture it by leaping onto it (they don't build webs). Only 2-3mm long, but a find I was hoping to have in my lockdown wildlife survey.

Yellow Dung Fly in the extras is one I've seen before, but not often, and was a sudden arrival of colour.
