Itchy and Scratchy

Tomorrow I will be mostly raking the bark path level.

Henrietta (the brown one) was better this morning, clearly not 100%, but able to see and walk, so that’s a plus. I rewarded her with an egg yolk mashed with garlic, which was enjoyed but for the beak stickiness that resulted.

Lots of work. It’s all a bit up and down now, but so much is out of everyone’s control - it’s a bit frustrating.

But forty minutes watching the hens wreck the garden lightened my mood. They were astonished by the sound frogs make (we were right by the pond).
