Clementine's
Today was another day of things to check off the Melbourne sightseeing to-do list. Before I got started on all that though I went to get my hair cut at the BIBA Academy, mostly because it was cheaper than real salons by about $50! All in all a good experience, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cut. I was kind of scared that I would come out of there with a wonky fringe or something!
I finally had an afternoon free in the city, when Queen Victoria Market was open and it wasn't raining or some other horrible weather, so I made the most of it and went for my first proper visit. It seems like whenever I have the day off and it's nice weather, it's one of the two days a week that it's closed! I'd been to the Suzuki Night Market, which is held in the same place on Wednesday nights but not all of the shops are open then and it's a bit more food oriented. I had some lunch there and wandered around and got some cheapish produce. The dairy hall definitely had my mouth watering but I didn't get anything because I'm far too indecisive.
After my market wandering I headed down to Degraves street in search of a coffee. I was going to sit out and enjoy the sunshine at a café but it got really windy and went down to about 15 so I nixed that idea. On my way though I spotted this adorable little scene in front of a store called Clementine's. I don't know if it's part of their shop display or not but it was too good of a scene not to take a picture!
