This is the gloriously asymmetrical, curved and arched apartment complex down the road, made from 500,000 recycled bricks and opposite the former brickworks.

This big mousehole is between two blocks, with a landscaped area and public art on one side and a view of the park on the other.

I’m still surprised that Defence Housing Australia built this.
