Fiery Sky

Sure been an eventful day. Around 12:30am the emergency siren went off. The man next is one the first responders, so took off. Not long after that we have torrential rain. Luckily it didn't last too long. Then just before 8am I was woken up with a earthquake. Not long after that the emergency siren when off again. 


Hopfully it will be peaceful tonight. The emergency siren had gone off yesterday afternoon too. This week it has gone off five times. Which isn't good. Hopfully it wasn't lockdown escapes getting into trouble!. Most times I am here it doesn't go off at all. 

The earthquake was a 4.3 but only 5k deep. Don't think there was any damage. 2rd one I have felt since being here. Normally you don't feel the Christchurch ones much here. Hopfully there will be no more.
