The still life of a wonky parsnip

it's moved now, back in the veggie tray. Freshly lifted from the plot today ... They won't win any beauty competitions but it fits the bill for today's Abstract Thursday subject 'Food'.
I've had a long productive day on the allotment,  too many jobs to list. Glorious sunshine, short sleeved tee shirt from 9am  ....  what a treat for April.
Back home at 5pm to make pasties .... why can't I make a "normal" sized pasty. They were humungous .. so we only ate half each. Followed by a disagreement .. Another day ruined ....
