Snake Hose

What a lovely day it was today! Sunny. Blue sky. Warm. I made the most of it, sitting outside several times during the day and enjoying the lovely fresh air and the calm silence on the road.

I wasn't just sitting still guzzling coffee and lots of rehydrating water. No indeed. I also took a notion to tackle some pesky weeds and to cut back some plants (or are they shrubs?) that should have been cut back sooner. I've got to say the bits of the front garden which got attention look really good now: neat and tidy and looking as if they're meant to look like that.

And then, later in the evening when the sun had gone down and things had cooled down a bit it was time to treat the plants (or are they shrubs?) to some much-needed watering with my sooper-dooper expanding hose. A bit of plant food would have been welcome too, but I wasn't in time to get any before the garden centres and such were shut down.
