PPE

Today things got a little more real, the patient I was caring for was ‘query covid’ so I was donned in full sleeved gown, gloves, eye shield and this wonderful respirator mask (not this actual one!) they leave a lovely red patterned mark over your nose and round your face, many colleagues have to use a dressing across the bridge of the nose because the skin breaks down, but nobody really complains because the redder you are, the better the seal, and the more protection they are giving you.
(At 4pm I heard she was negative so was able to step back to normal gloves, apron, and surgical type mask)
