Cool For Cats, Barming

My early mornings have fallen into a familiar pattern. Up at between 6 and 6.30 with a bit of a heave and straight onto a couple of cups of strong coffee to get myself fully awake.
Then it's time for the exercise of the day which, at the moment, alternates between a run one day and a long walk the second (always with a camera).
It was a stunning morning so I was convinced I was going to get a wonderful landscape shot. It didn't happen - even though it was glorious none of my shots looked very interesting or well composed. However, while walking along the main road I looked left for no reason at all and there was my shot. This rather beguiling black and white cat staring straight at me through the gate caught in this lovely crisp light.
