Jungle warrior

Campbell is reclaiming our veg patch from the jungle of thistles, nettles, dockans, buttercups and grass that has overtaken in the past few years due to life getting in the way of our garden time and enthusiasm.

The blessings of being young and strong with a healthy back were evident as he’s made great headway in a day or so. Hopefully he’ll soon have it productive again.

Wish I’d taken a pic before he started as it would have been good to compare the jungle it was before he started. This it with one bed cleared and turned over. Plus rotting wood around the edges replaced with slate and bits of old pallets he found hanging around the shed.
