Surprised...

to find a Lek this morning! These are Black Grouse displaying in order to prove superiority for breeding , with the females waiting around to see who wins!
Quite a while since I've seen this and only came across this because I needed to give the car a run out as it's been in the garage for three weeks.
Great to see and from the car too!
Another hot, sunny day and good walks later.
