Nothing to do with the saying of 'not a dickie bird', rhyming slang for 'not a word' << Larry chatters a lot to anyone who will listen, so he's never silent! The dickie in this instance refers to his tuxedo front of feathers which is rolling up here in the wind. Not brilliantly sharp, but then conditions today have not been favourable. As ever it blew a gale last night & the rain thrashed against the windows (all today too) & I worried about Larry & all the birds, especially when my dad said Larry wasn't anywhere to be seen this morning when he fed them. But when I came down, there he was, well, I could hear him singing in the garage, waiting for me :) Feathery xxx's
