Flower Friday: Apple Blossom Time

This morning's mission was shopping for the weekend, Tess in Lidl for the bulk of it, me in Sainsbury's for the things we can't get in Lidl: separate lists - check; bags - check; hand gel - check; face mask - check!

Only queued for 10 minutes to get in (no queue in Lidl) and got everything on the list.

Enjoyed our first al fresco lunch in the sunshine then had a bike ride on a slightly different route on the lanes near Glastonbury. A grass snake sashayed across the road in front of us, a crow was chasing a predatory buzzard off, a heron levered its way along the field beside us. Peaceful.

The first blossom has appeared on our apple tree the last couple of days, in time for Flower Friday.
