Sundial

N has been working on this dry-stone structure for a couple of days. I think the sun dial finishes it perfectly. This was made over a hundred years ago for where my great grandfather and my grandfather farmed, just a few miles away from our garden, so it works fairly accurately for us here.

It was a beautiful, soft day today, lovely and warm, so I spent a bit of time preparing the soil in our new fruit cage. Still lots more to do!
