FORGET - ME - NOTS

Had another lazy day -  apart from doing some ironing.  The weather was OK - but not as nice as it has been in some parts of the country.

I took a quick walk in the back lane to get my Flower Friday shot.  There are a few flowers around  - some wild flowers, some weeds and some garden flowers growing wild. I chose Forget - Me - Nots as my blip.  Lovely little delicate flowers. 

Forget Me Nots symbolise .......

  * True and undying love

   * Remembrance during partings or after death

   * A connection that lasts through time

   * Caring for the poor, disabled, and needy

   * Reminders of your favourite memories or time together with another   person

I though the list was appropriate at the moment as we live through the coronavirus pandemic. Remembering loved ones and friends we are unable to see and those who have sadly passed away. And remembering those who are caring for the sick and other key workers who are keeping things going as best they can.

This evening I had virtual drinks with Becky and Mike using WhatsApp.  It was lovely to see and hear them and we had a nice catch up.
