Fungi

Old tree with some fungus. Might be Fomes fomentarius, common in Europe. It seems Otzi the Tyrolean ice-man was carrying a few of these with him for tinder or maybe medicine when he stumbled down a crevice in the Italian alps in 1991. I digress.
