Japonica

These pretty little flowers are gracing our Chaenomeles (I had to look up the proper name for this shrub).  I thought it was a suitable subject for Flower (Good) Friday.

Domestic chores this morning, and then out in the garden again this afternoon to clear the weeds from a small rose bed.  I hope we can get some annuals later to plant around the roses.
