A fine view

We walked up a road where the friends that we chatted with the other day live. They were sitting in their garden taking a break and came down to the fence for a talk. This is the view from their place - lovely, yeah? There was a bit of marine mist. I was surprised how loud the ferry was though. Nice to see them again and catch up on some news. 
Did some more gardening when we came home and got two of the smaller boxes ready for planting onions this weekend. I likely won't plant anything else for two or three weeks, but we'll get the boxes ready tomorrow. G turned the soil a couple of days ago, so I'll add some mushroom manure and work it in. 
Extra: Just down the road, some people have recently built this deck on the property they own on the other side of the road from their house. Their view would be very similar.
