The Wrong Choice

Heading out to run some errands, I was debating whether to take my bike or public transport. It was still a bit icy, but the sun was out so I opted for my bike. Shortly after leaving home, it started snowing -- that cold, sharp, wet snow that stings your face. About five minutes after taking this picture, I hit a bump at the wrong angle and my bike slid out from under me. No damage other than a huge lump and a nasty bruise on my thigh, and a total loss on my gloves.
