Sun!

Today's challenge was "Sun".  How fortunate, then, that today we saw the first sun for some considerable time.  Indeed, a dramatic change to the weather.  Yesterday some of the less frequented roads were still covered in snow and the pavements were treacherous.  However, I woke up this morning to blue skies, much higher temperatures, with a hardly a trace of snow to be found anywhere.  Compare this lovely sunlit scene(a view which I have blipped before), taken at lunchtime today,  with the same scene just two days ago! A major transormation.

Now, later in the afternoon, the skies are grey and it is raining hard outside. No-one can complain that the British weather isn't entertaining.
