Great Bookham Common

I lived in Kingston upon Thames and Surbiton for a number of years, but despite the promises to myself, I rarely exploited the sights and sounds on my doorstep, and rarely ventured into and explored London.

Now three of the children can propel themselves on wheels, and number four can be wheeled about, we are starting to explore more. Today we ventured into Great Bookham Common, with the eldest two on bikes, number three on a balance bike and number four in a pushchair. I had to do a fair bit of running to keep up with the balance biker, but it didn't feel like exercise!

It also meant the Nikon got an airing, rather than using photos from my Motorola RAZR i. This could well have been a blip of the family, but captured this of a pair of swans on a semi-frozen pond.
