Sparrow nesting

A nest box which we put up a few years ago has its first occupants this week.  A pair of sparrows were seen entering today, and each in turn took a look outside to see what was going on in the world.  Hopefully they will rear some offspring.  Their home is sited facing north, giving shelter from hot sun and wind and rain; it is also the least accessible by Cedric, the marmalade cat.
