Easter Saturday

With the wind blowing a gale outside for most of the day it seemed like a good idea to stay inside safe and sound.  It wasn’t even a great option to go wandering around it was so windy.  I decided this afternoon I would do a bit of baking and was very happy with the results.  A tray of delicious roasted Roma tomatoes and a Banana, Fig and Walnut loaf.  

I don’t think I could ever have imagined in my wildest dreams an Easter Saturday quite like today.  I admit I have had to turn off the news reports over the last couple of days.  It’s too distressing and there is nothing more I can do than to do what is being asked of all of us and that is to “Stay at Home”.
