Hyacinth after dark
A lovely, sunny day, most of it spent in the 'yard, deadheading, tidying, and then repotting all the houseplants. A little job I've been putting off for ages.
When we moved north, almost 10 years ago, all my beloved houseplants died en route. Being in the removal lorry for a couple of days, with nighttime temperatures down to -17degC, was enough to kill them off, and no amount of TLC on arrival revived them. Since then, I've acquired very few plants, and most of those had become potbound. We now have a few more, as I split the Peace lilies. Hopefully, the rest of the plants will be happier now they have growing space.
Apart from that, it was 16km on the exercise bike, some mandolin practice, and family phone calls.
Left it too late for an outside Blip in daylight, so decided to try the flash on the new(ish) camera. Aaargh, the flash didn't work! Was the camera faulty, or did I need to alter something. Nothing obviously wrong, and no clues in the manual, and in the end Mr Google and a video on YouTube came to the rescue. I had turned 'Silent mode' on, and for the flash to work, 'Silent mode' must be off! Eh? Anyway, it's off now, and here's the result - hyacinth by flash...
Lockdown, day 18
