I suspected the elves escaped from the Christmas decorations box, and had been lying low.  They said it looked so nice and sunny that they could go on an Easter adventure. 

Hold on said Gromit, it is not a good idea.  We need to stay home and stay safe.  

Oh, said the elves it is so nice.

OK, sighed the elves, you are right, home is the safest place to be.
