Choppy River

The Mersey was very high and as choppy as I have ever seen it. Desperate for some real exercise we walked from one end of the promenade to the other . It was windy but very pleasant especially when walking with the wind behind us. The water was churned up, with lots of seaweed and silt, occasionally splashing over the wall. these little guys were keeping close to each other
