A long way from everywhere

Wednesday 10th April 2019 was the day I flew out from Longyearbyen on Svalbard. I do hope that some day I will return. Although it was a bit cloudy and grey when we took off, it wasn't long before the sky cleared and we had wonderful views (see the Lofoten Islands in the extra) as we flew south along the Norwegian coast, bound for Oslo. Even the cabin crew wee enthralled by the view. I was near the end of a trip of a lifetime, with great friends (although I really hope to persuade N to accompany me on a return trip some day!)
