Catching the sun

What a glorious day it has been!  Mhairi found a sunny spot to read her book, whilst I pottered around taking photos of the peonies again, which are growing at a rapid pace at the moment. See extra for the peonies backlit by the sun.

I spent a happy couple of hours watching Local Hero, which was on Film4. Staying at home has its benefits.

This evening we are having cocktails whist competing in another quiz! With five of us at home, we don't have to resort to virtual competitions.
