As They Poke Through The Red Leaves

A beautiful sunny day, perfect for spending in the garden...just as well I had nowhere else to be. Just a gentle day of pottering, sorting drawers in the kitchen, playing badminton, looking at plant catalogues and relaxing in the sunshine..all in the safety of our own home.

Every spring I wish I had planted more tulips and this year is no exception...but I get to autumn and never remember where I had wanted to put them! For next year I am just going to plant them in pots as I always love these delicate ones that I do have in a pot on my patio as they poke through the red leaves of some Heucheras.
