A Quiet Day

What a surprise there!

I had a trip to the shop this morning with a list of things that were quite specific for a couple of meals  she intended doing.
The kybosh was put on that when there was almost no meat, there was no flour … of any kind - sauce flour or cornflour were on my list but they had the word flour in the title so there was no chance. Apparently it is not the contents that are in short supply - it is the bags ……… which are made in China!
On a side note I am getting really hacked off with the media doing nothing but complain that the government is failing to supply things like PPE for the NHS ……. they are doing their best to get it (as are every other country in the world) but once again it is the supply line from places like China that is the problem.

I finished my wee turning project - as you can see in the extras box.
I am now trying to decide if I should paint them in the colours of the rainbow.
The one with the jaunty angled top was 'interesting' to make. Not one I will be trying again in a hurry.

The shots in the main Blip were inspired by our check-ups at the dentist being cancelled for the foreseeable  future .......... a phrase that is becoming all the more common.
