Rhododendrons

The first bloom on the rhododendrons this spring. I love this one with its delicate bell shaped flower. The bees like it too.
We were adventurous today and walked over the hill beyond our normal walk, to New Hutton village. We discovered a bridleway that led down to St Sunday’s Beck with wild flowers and hedgerow birds. Quite delightful and a great find after all these years!
